Nguyen Thu Anh - Founding Partner of Ambys Hanoi Law Firm
Anh is a member of the Vietnam Bar Association since 2004 and a registered Vietnam patent and trademark attorney since 1992. She studied chemical engineering at the Forest Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Thu Anh was the former examiner in the Vietnam Patent Office for 7 years.

She has over thirty years of practice in the field of intellectual property law and is experienced in the prosecution of patents and trademarks in Vietnam and many countries around the world. Her practice focuses on protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patent, trademarks and copyrights. She has gained substantial experience before the VNIPO Board of Appeal and participated in court trial at all stages. She significantly contributed in drafting of Vietnam Trademark and Patent Law and Regulation. She has also advised on intellectual property aspects of commercial transactions and selection, clearance, prosecution, and use of trademarks, technology transfer and licensing.

Truong Binh Son - Founding Partner of Ambys Hanoi Law Firm

Son obtained degree in Mechanical Engineering from technical University of Minsk, Belarus in 1983. He worked for National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (NARIM) in the Technology Department before joining the firm. His practice concentrates on patent drafting, prosecution and enforcement.

Tran Thi Tuyet Trinh - Partner of Ambys Hanoi Law Firm.

She is a registered Vietnam Patent and Trademark attorney. She obtained BA degree from Hanoi Law School. She has over fifteen years of practice in the trademark and copyright prosecution and consultancy. Her practice focuses on the prosecution and enforcement of trademark and copyright in Vietnam and around the world. She has gained substantial experience before the NOIP’s Board of Appeal and before MOST’s inspector in appeal stage according to administrative procedure.

Duong Ngoc Quynh
Patent Senior Associate

Quynh’s practice concentrates on the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. She alsoassistsclient’s in drafting patent specification and advises clients with respect to enforcement of patent rights. She has experience in patent and design prosecution and advices in Vietnam and many countries around the world. Quynh received her Master of Science in the Biotechnology from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Sue specializes in general legal consulting and IP enforcement. She works closely with legal aspects of every case and work with governement authorities to execute enforcement for client's IP rights and other related legal procedures. She earns a Bachelor of Law from Hanoi Law University and attended Lawyer training course in Judicial Academy. She is a member of International Trademark Association.

Nguyen Thi Lan Anh
Trademark Senior Associate

Educational Background: Bachelor of International Relations
Ms. Lan Anh specializes in trademark prosecution of establishment of trademark rights, assigning and licensing trademarks in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. She handles trademark cases from start to finish, providing advices for clients on each step of the way from formality to substantive examination. She also drafts opposition and invalidation arguments and prosecutes the filing of oppositions and invalidation of trademarks. For the past five years, Ms. Lan Anh had executed numerous filings for trademark applications, advising clients on complicated identification of goods/services.

Ms. Ngoc Thao specializes in trademark prosecution. She advises clients from trademark search and estimation of registrability to following the application from filing to registration stage. She also partakes in legal in-depth research projects of trademark distinctiveness. She also advices on commercial law and company law.

Ho Thi Thu Uyen
Trademark and Copyright Associate

Uyen earns a Bachelor of Law from Hanoi Law University and partakes in Trademark prosecutions and Copyright consultancy.

Ms. Uyen specializes in prosecution of copyright registration. She frequently handles copyright registration cases and is familiar with the Copyright Office. She also executes trademark prosecution and advices on formality and substantive examination stages’ official action.
